Roller shutter and sun protection manufacturer SUYS enters into a partnership within cyclocross.

Nokere/Kruisem – The Belgian family business SUYS, based in Nokere (Kruisem), has signed on as the new main partner of the Exact Cyclocross series, the Belgian Cyclocross Championship in Heusden-Zolder, and the European Championship in Middelkerke.

Last year, to celebrate their 50th anniversary, the manufacturer of solar screens and shutters rebranded from BUILDING SHUTTERS to SUYS, with a focus on increasing brand recognition. "We want more visibility," explains CEO Thibaut Suys. "This investment in sports marketing is part of our brand transition, aimed at raising our profile and strengthening our position as a family-owned company in the industry."

SUYS will be prominently featured on 11 race days, both on the field and live on Sporza. The partnership with Golazo has been confirmed for at least three years, demonstrating SUYS’s commitment to a long-term project.

“Cyclocross is thriving, and it’s the perfect platform to showcase our company and products,” adds Thibaut Suys. “We’ll complement this sponsorship with additional activations like contests, giveaways, and online campaigns, in collaboration with our distributors. Our dealers are already excited.”

The Exact series kicks off on October 12 in Beringen and concludes on February 15, 2025, in Sint-Niklaas. The Belgian Championship in Heusden-Zolder takes place on January 11 and 12, 2025. On November 8 and 9, 2025, Middelkerke will host the European Championship, where the top riders will compete for the blue and white jerseys. Organiser Golazo is excited about the new partnership and looks forward to seeing SUYS at the upcoming races.
